As founder and CEO, Matt spends much of his time casting the vision for Stout, finding new creative challenges and helping the team to meet them. Whether it’s setting the creative direction for a startup brewery or dreaming up new campaigns with national brands, his work means collaborating with some of the best people and creative minds in the industry. Matt got his start in the beer business in 2012 running social media for a Chicago wholesaler, and has since built a career out of understanding and growing beverage brands.
When not working, he can be found hanging out with his three wild boys, or playing drums and singing in poorly lit venues across Chicago, or at 11pm beer league games in harshly lit hockey rinks. After growing up in a variety of countries across the world, he now calls Chicago home.
