Alongside the brewery’s founders, we crafted the Sideward brand from the ground up.
Industry veterans with plenty of perspective and creative inspiration, they have been and continue to be a blast to work with.
The brand’s logo, affectionately dubbed “Demon Cow,” serves as a jumping off point for a series of characters and illustrations whose style is dark and brutal, while the content keeps it fun.
As Sideward says, “It’s aggressive, but not so aggressive that you wouldn’t show your mom.”
We’ve stopped counting but know that we’ve designed a shit ton of labels over the years.
A strong foundation in their personality and “creepy-cute” brand standards allow range without sacrificing cohesion.
