Mash Gang is a UK no and low-alc brand that’s experienced an explosion of growth in a very short time. As they began to enter the US market, we refreshed their core packaging and helped expand the brand beyond their cans.
Mash Gang is liquid rebellion. It’s unforgettable. Which led to a singular challenge: how do we bring counterculture to the mainstream? How do we hold onto what makes Mash Gang unique, while creating an ownable design system that can attract attention halfway across the world from its birthplace?
The answer? Build a brand world around their existing Chug label, using American tattoo flash and combined with unexpected colours and pattern. The result is a non-alc beer brand that’s loud and unapologetic – equally at home on stage with Phish as with Pig Destroyer.
