Ahead of their 10-year anniversary, Kyoto Brewing Company approached us about a brand refresh. They were at a turning point in their trajectory, and wanted to see a renewed sense of fun and light heartedness in the Brand.
They had existing brand equity in their primary hexagon logo, but needed to expand it into a full logo suite.
We began by diving into the brand of KBC — solidifying values and identifying keywords, helping to articulate the energy they’re seeing for this next chapter.
From there we got to work on their visual brand expansion, unveiling a full set of logos, updating flagships, creating systems for series, and a language for their one-offs.
This process cumulated in their anniversary party, which we branded and supplied with custom merchandise.
