Ancillary Fermentation is a brewery, and an art project, and a traveling conceptual pop up taproom, and a “fermentorium,” and a lot less pretentious than it sounds. It’s a partnership between a bunch of Raleigh-Durham beer folks, centered on the idea that beer should be more experimental, more experiential, and a hell of a lot weirder.

Each month, Ancillary hosts a pop up taproom in different locations throughout The Triangle. The beers and events will be created in partnership with members of the Raleigh-Durham beer community, with proceeds benefiting a different charity, and centered around a theme, exploring everything from fancy felines to used goods to time itself.

We were brought alongside the Ancillary* team at the very beginning, and have helped give them a brand identity, logo, packaging design system, and more.
